Our small rural school was up for closure last year. Our school is in itself, our success story. The money we raise through box tops for education helps us maintain our everyday expenses that our local board can no longer afford such as xerox machine, printers, laminators etc. Our school was not closed last year. We managed to keep it open and we are working harder than ever to reinvest in our school on our own through opportunities such as these.
